Some garments are too delicate for any kind of machine. Vintage pieces, hand-beaded fabrics, fragile silks, and certain wool and cashmere items can shrink, warp, or break down even on the gentlest cycle. For these pieces, hand washing and air drying is the only safe option. Bubbles offers a dedicated hand dry service for clothing that needs this level of care.

Hand drying is a slower process by design. Garments are gently washed by hand using fabric-appropriate cleaners, then carefully shaped and laid flat or hung to air dry. There is no heat exposure, no tumbling, no agitation that could damage delicate fibers. The result is clothing that comes back clean and fresh without losing its shape, color, or texture.

This service is ideal for cashmere sweaters, fine knits, vintage clothing, embellished or beaded pieces, lingerie, certain silks, and any garment with a "hand wash only" or "lay flat to dry" care label. If you are not sure whether something qualifies, ask us. We would rather check first than risk damaging a piece that matters to you.

Leather is one of the most durable materials in your wardrobe and one of the easiest to ruin. Standard dry cleaning solvents strip natural oils from leather, causing it to dry out, crack, and lose its color over time. Cleaning leather properly requires specialized solutions, the right technique, and a real understanding of how different types of leather respond to treatment. It is not a service every dry cleaner can offer.
